After seeing the lighting issue in Shot 9 cause by my PxrVolume, I was able to go in and figure out where else that would be happening to prevent having to complete more re-renders. I have rendered numerous shots now, which I am individually saving as they complete on their respective computer at SCAD. I was able to get most of the shots to render at about 30 mins a frame, which is a great improvement from the original render time, though some still take 45-1 hr.
As time is passing with more successful renders I feel better about where I am, giving myself a good amount of time at the end of the quarter to cut the final video together and do any additional editing as needed to the image sequences. (:
