I am working on the duplicate file of my simplified scene in which I'm creating my ball simulations. Once I have completed the simulations at each necessary frame I plan on importing the scene with just the animated ball (in key frames, not sims) into my final scene.
Here is a quick video of two shots I've been working on, shot 5 & 6 (the ball falls out of the clock, and bounces off the record player). As I work on the simulations, I get a bit better at understanding the steps to create a believable sim, though sometimes I find the ball having a mind of its own, leading to a bit of trial and error on my end.
